><> Reality - this can be interpreted two different ways: 1. The blood of Christ;
If Jesus is real to you, then you're living the reality. 2. The destination of those who refuse to believe in Christ;
God reluctantly sends them to eternal punishment. Also, it stands for Society; people think it's the way we're supposed
to live; following society only diverts us from God's path.
><> L
- the purple color reflects royalty, and the "L" is the first letter in the
word "lamb." In other words, this symbolizes the royalty of the Lamb of God.
><>
Stairsteps - follow the same direction as
Vertical and lead to heaven.
If you follow the righteous path, you will be rewarded and the gates of heaven will be open to you.
><> The form of the symbol is an X-shaped cross. The disciple Andrew was
crucified on a cross like this. This shape symbolizes the importance of evangelism of every single person.
><> Notice that
Vertical and Reality intersect at perpendicular angles. This represents how God's way is not the world's way. If you're
gonna go God's way, then you can't go society's way. There's no room for things that God does not approve. You're
either for Him or against Him.
><>
The centerpiece of the symbol is the L. The
Founding Fathers of the United States founded this nation on God's principles. (NOTE: a foundation cannot be moved
once something has been built upon it. If you tried to move it... it would collapse.)
><> Jesus (L)
blocks the way to the Stairsteps which
lead to heaven. This is symbolic of John 14:6 "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father
except through me." Jesus is the key to heaven. To get there, you must "confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,'
and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead" (Romans 10:9)
